This 180-day plan offers a bird’s-eye-view of all 66 books of the Bible in about 15 minutes a day. Think of it as an introductory tour through a great art museum. You won’t get to see every painting in detail, but you’ll learn the basic layout and will quite possibly acquire a taste for art that will entice you to return again and again.

The passages appear in roughly chronological order. For example, you’ll read the psalms written by David as you hear about his life, the prophets along with their background history, and portions of the gospels as they portray Jesus’ life on earth. The arrangement should help reveal the Bible’s overall “plot,” presenting the underlying story of the Bible.
